Meet Shannon

While in college, Shannon immersed herself in designing and planning recruitment weekends for her sorority, all the while juggling working with several music industry companies producing fan club parties and tour events. She was given the opportunity to be an Event Assistant for a local Wedding Planner, and over her two years in that role, Shannon fell even more in love with events. Everything from the overall theme to the tiniest of details was given the utmost attention and that made her heart flutter!

After trying her hand at other event opportunities, she landed a job as an Event Specialist for a full-service hospitality company in Nashville. Within that role, Shannon planned, designed, and executed over 200 events in two and a half years, ranging from full-scale weddings, to corporate meetings, and high caliber social gatherings. Shannon has worked with large organizations from around the nation and several music labels, assisting them in creating unique memorable experiences for their guests. 

With years of experience in the event industry, a creative spark, and exceptional hospitality, Shannon has found herself as Event Sociétal’s newest Planner assisting in the Nashville, TN market. Shannon’s goal is to cultivate a planning experience for her clients, that is both efficient and enjoyable. She constantly aims to establish a personal connection and trust with each client, or industry contact, she encounters! She loves taking broad concept ideas and conceiving event designs that are thoroughly planned – from the overall visuals all the way down to the smallest of details. 

When she’s not on the clock, Shannon can be found spending time with her husband and newborn daughter. She has two fur babies that are her pride and joy, a sassy Golden Retriever named Rory (after Gilmore Girls, yes) and a goofball German Shepherd named Finn. A few of her favorite things include listening to vinyl records, hosting friends for a backyard bonfire, HGTV’s Fixer Upper, Mexican food, and Dunkin Donuts iced coffee.
